Brewtiful Living
Privacy Policy.
Last updated: April 14, 2026 · Yes, this is a real page.
This is not that 47-page corporate document no one reads. It is a straightforward explanation of what we collect, why we have it, and what you can do about it. We will not bury anything in paragraph nine. Promise.
Who is behind this
Brewtiful Living (BrewtifulLiving.com) is an independent editorial blog. One person. Strong opinions. A lot of coffee. We are the sole data controller for everything on this site, which is a legal way of saying the buck stops here.
What we actually collect
Two things, and only two things:
- Your email address — if you subscribe to the newsletter or use the contact form. That is it. We do not ask for your name, your location, your star sign, or your opinion on oat milk.
- Anonymous site data — Google Analytics tracks things like which articles you read, how long you stay, and what device you are on. None of this is tied to you personally. We use it to figure out what is worth writing about.
We do not collect payment information. We do not run a shop, an affiliate programme, or sponsored content. What you read here is not funded by a brand hoping you will buy something.
Why we have it
- To send you the newsletter — only if you asked for it.
- To reply to you if you reach out via the contact form.
- To understand which content is worth more of our time (and yours).
That is the full list. We are not building a profile on you. We are not selling your address. We are not forwarding it to anyone who will email you about supplements.
Google Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics drops cookies on your device to track anonymous site behaviour. We use this data to see what is resonating and what is flopping. If you would rather not be part of that, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or manage cookies through your browser settings.
Disabling cookies will not break the site. It will just mean we have slightly less data on what you are into, which is your right.
The newsletter
If you subscribed, thank you. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are out — no guilt trip, no "are you sure?", no five confirmation screens. Just gone. We respect that.
How long we keep your data
Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe. After that, it is removed. Contact form messages are kept only as long as it takes to respond, then cleared. We are not building an archive of your correspondence.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. These include:
- The right to know what we have on you (not much, see above)
- The right to ask us to correct or delete it
- The right to withdraw consent at any time, which for the newsletter means the unsubscribe link
- The right to complain to your local data protection authority if you feel we have mishandled things
To exercise any of these, just reach out. We will not make it difficult.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to external sites. Once you leave Brewtiful Living, we have no control over what those sites do with your data. Read their policies. Or do not. We are a blog, not your IT department.
Children
Brewtiful Living is an 18+ space — it says so at the bottom of every page. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has submitted something, contact us and we will remove it immediately.
Changes to this policy
If something here changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not quietly bury a major change and hope no one notices. That is not really our style.
